Canon EOS 500 D

Canon, a distinguished camera manufacturer, officially introduced the canon eos 500 d into the market last March 2009.

The first EOS camera with video capture capacity, the EOS 5D Mark II, was introduced by Canon in 2008. A year after that, Canon presented full high-definition (HD) video capability with the Canon EOS 500 D. Canon’s 500 D model provides users with the ability to shoot videos in full HD while using a compact and lightweight Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera.

The Canon EOS 500 D, which features a 15 megapixel CMOS sensor, makes it an ideal device for large and detailed prints. If you like to do post-photo editing, the image sizes gives you vast cropping possibilities.

With the 3-inch LCD screen, the Canon EOS 500 D allows for clear views, precise previews and easy review of images. The user not only gets detailed image reviews, but it also lets you have accurate focus checks and easy menu access. The model also has a Live View mode, which allows better image captures with its contrast-based options and Face Detection autofocus. The Canon EOS 500 D AF system makes split-second action sequence capturing possible. The AF system contains nine individual sensors, including high-precision sensors that work best for fast lenses. The EOS Integrated Cleaning System of the Canon EOS 500 D protects image quality by removing, repelling and reducing unnecessary elements from the sensor.

The outstanding noise reduction capacity of the Canon EOS 500 D is the by-product of the DIGIC 4 processor as it works in conjunction with the model’s CMOS sensor. This permits the camera to produce photos with natural-looking colors and even tone grades. The processor works up to 3.4 fps continuous shooting speeds, for as high as 170 JPEG bursts. It also has high ISO sensitivity, which is up to 3200 and which is expandable to 12800. This ISO sensitivity range is perfect for images taken in near-dark conditions and dim light environment.

The compact-camera style, which features auto focus and real-time image display, makes it a highly recommended choice for beginners. The Canon EOS 500 D has both quality still image capture capacities and incredible Full HD 1080P video recording features. Lower shooting resolutions of 720P or VGA are available for longer videos. It is also highly compatible with the Canon EF lenses.

Indeed, the Canon EOS 500 D can give you an exceptional photo-shooting experience.
